CariXpressions is a writing forum and artist resource center for the Caribbean. We publish original works of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. As well as feature artists, painting, photography, drawings and pictures of sculptures in different genres.
We engage and lift each other as well as providing access to clients, critics, editors, and publishers looking for new talent.
You may submit work to us by submitting it to be published for distribution. An idea for publishing on the website, or through our contests.
Prose and Poetry
We love unusual and unheard voices. The maximum length for short stories is 5000 words. Only work where the author has all rights will be considered. We do not ask for exclusivity and you are free to publish with anyone you choose. A representative will be in touch with you if selected for a brief bio. Please submit by sending your story using the link below. By submitting your work, you acknowledge that, if accepted your work may be published on our website. .
Books
Novels for publication should be between 20,000 and 80,000 words. Only work where the author has all rights will be considered. Only new work will be considered, no previously published work. A representative will be in touch with you to discuss editing, publication and contracts. Please submit by sending the first three chapters of your book using the link . There are no fees to submit a book, edit or publish. Fees are only collected from book sales.
Art
Artists interested in having their artwork considered must submit PNG or JPEG files with a resolution of 300 dpi or greater. Please submit by sending your photos using the link below with the subject Artwork and the genre. There are no fees to submit. We are also not able to offer any payment but hope that changes in the future as we grow our following. By submitting your work, you acknowledge that, if accepted your work may be featured on our website.
Submissions
All contributors retain the copyrights to their work. It may take as much as three (3) months for a response.
